i realised...
i do shut people out sometimes.
others are sincere in reachin out,
yet i refused it all.
i even avoided conversations,
eye-contact,
or even pretended not to see them
on the streets.
it gets irritating when da world is small
its unexplainable, da things i do.
at times, i just wanna be alone,
away from human contact.
though somewhere inside, i'm screamin
for someone to come and save me.
they say its unpleasant of me when i get mad.
i do try to control my temper,
but it never fail to get outta control.
one thing i wont do.
lay a finger on anyone.
call me a coward, dats just not my style.
i prefer talkin things out.
portrayin a happy front is easy
i cant pretend,
but everyone can put up a front.
its da only way nobody can pry further.
bein corny and lame is just a lifestyle,
sometimes its nice to c others laugh to ur jokes.
i finally know wat i want to do in life,
as a career, and as a human being.
i haf always been helpin ppl,
this time i can really make a difference.
those quiet moments on the bus,
those lonely walks back home,
those sweet images captured on the streets,
it got me thinkin.
money is not everythin.
though it does provide me some form of therapy,
to just keep pamperin myself with luxuries,
at da end of da day, its all nuthin.
its just wealth.
i'm gonna treat my family good now
to relieve them of their wishlist
though i cant seem to believe it,
i just paid my medical fees just like dat
gosh, i noe its a hell of a load of bucks
i think i was goin bonkers dat time
i just had them swipped it
w/out even askin questions and why
oh well.. money can be earned back
i'm not rich, i'm just ur average stubborn
punk next door tryin to be a rock star.
i'm goin back to school next yr.
dats definitely one of my new yr's resolution,
the rest will be a secret.
actually, i cant wait for x'mas.
i think somethin extravagant will happen.
i could be wrong for dat matter.
