Now i noe y i dun like Hari Raya
its not cuz of fasting or da wearin of da traditional costume
i mayb sensitive or juz plain emotional
but while on da way to work juz now,
i was listenin to RIA
and da sound of mothers and daughters gettin in touch with each other
from far away as England
diff kind of families but all for one reaction
bein forgiven is all dere is with also missin one another from a foreign land
it kinda touched ma heart
tears fallen n misses exchanged
now i truely noe da significance of Hari Raya
its da appreciation of ur family without takin dem for granted
it all comes down to family,
ur one and only
( no matter how much fucken shit dey gave u...)
(or how un-understandin dey can get...)
who will confirm plus guarantee be dere for u if u were to fall
but i cant forget ma hommies as well
dey made me stronger n gave me inputs to better maself
i've always liked constructive feedback
i've been priortisin ma family dese few weeks
but i'm not forgettin ma frenz who misses me
